Handmade Cold & Heat Pack (fragrance-free) filled with 100% organic whole flaxseed made with a 100% cotton lining and one-of-a-kind hand-woven Mali Mud Cloth from Africa. Perfect for releasing tension or soothing sore muscles.

This lightly weighted cold and heat pack comes with a removable slipcover. Do not heat or cool the slipcover prior to use.

Heat pack for up to 1 1/2 minutes on each side to increase blood flow or warm-up muscles. Place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to help reduce swelling and pain.

Spot clean and air dry. Do not machine wash.

About the cloth slipcover: Made by Bamana women just north of Bamako, Mali. Bogolan fabric is created in a distinctively West African technique known as narrow-strip weaving. Individual strips of cloth are woven on treadle looms and then sewn together to make a larger textile. These cloths are traditionally worn as protective clothing that keeps away threatening evil spirits through their geometric patterns and tightly woven fabric as it is said to cause confusion and ward off any harm to the wearer.
